Manga Translator Z

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Manga Translator Z Chrome extension ("the Extension") and its hosted translation service. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.
Manga Translator Z is a browser extension that translates manga, manhwa, and manhua images using AI-powered text detection, translation, inpainting, and text rendering. The Extension supports multiple backend modes:

Free-tier usage resets weekly. Only successful hosted translations count toward your quota. Local server, Ollama, and OpenAI BYOK translations are always unlimited regardless of plan.
We reserve the right to adjust plan pricing, quotas, and features with reasonable notice. Active paid subscriptions will be honored through their current billing period.
You agree to use the Extension in a lawful and reasonable manner. The following activities are prohibited:
Violation of these terms may result in temporary or permanent revocation of your access to the hosted translation service.
Manga Translator Z does not endorse or facilitate copyright infringement. The Extension translates images that you are already viewing in your browser. You are responsible for having the legal right to access and translate the content you use with this Extension.
The Extension and hosted translation service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Specifically, we do not warrant that:
Translation quality depends on image quality, text clarity, language complexity, and the AI models used. Machine translation is inherently imperfect, and results should not be relied upon where precision is critical.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Manga Translator Z and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension or hosted service.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, inaccurate translations, service interruptions, or any costs incurred from third-party API usage (such as OpenAI API charges in BYOK mode).
When using BYOK or Ollama backends, you interact directly with third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, or behavior of third-party APIs.
We may suspend or revoke access to the hosted translation service if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from Chrome.
Paid plan refunds, if applicable, will be handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Chrome Web Store policies.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Extension's update notes on the Chrome Web Store. Continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
