FAQ

Does it handle both simplified and traditional Chinese?

Yes. Both scripts are detected and translated, and the native Mandarin voice reads either one.

Is there a Mandarin voice?

Yes. Click the speaker on a translated bubble to hear the original Chinese line in a native Mandarin voice.

Do I get pinyin over the characters?

No. The reading overlay (furigana) is Japanese-only. For Chinese you get the translation plus native-voice playback.
