Learn by reading the comics you already love

Comprehensible input you actually enjoy beats any flashcard deck. Manga Translator Z adds a Study mode on top of in-page translation: furigana over every kanji and a native voice that reads each line aloud, so a raw chapter becomes a reading lesson.

How Study mode works

Read the translation normally: press T and bubbles are translated in place.
Hover for the original + furigana: the Japanese reappears re-typeset with the reading over every kanji (Japanese only; Korean and Chinese show the original text).
Press play to hear it: a native voice reads the line while the kanji highlight in time, so you can shadow the pronunciation.

Why comics beat the textbook

Textbook Japanese is polite and stiff; manga is how people actually talk, slang, contractions, emotion, register that shifts by character. You get real context (the art tells you what a line means even before you parse it), and you keep going because you want to know what happens next. That motivation is the part textbooks can’t buy.
