Multi-Page Context

Maintain consistent character names, terminology, and voice across an entire chapter.

Consistent Translations Across Pages

The extension maintains a rolling buffer of the last 24 translated lines across pages. These previous translations are fed into the AI prompt so character voice, terminology, and context stay consistent as you read through a chapter.

How It Works

  • As each page is translated, the resulting translations are stored in a context buffer
  • When the next page is translated, the buffer is included in the AI prompt
  • The buffer holds up to 24 lines (rolling window — oldest lines are dropped)
  • Names, places, attacks, and speech patterns stay consistent page-to-page

Enabling Multi-Page Context

Toggle "Multi-page context" in the General tab under the Advanced section. Enabled by default.

Example

If page 1 translates "ナルト" as "Naruto" and "影分身の術" as "Shadow Clone Jutsu", the context buffer ensures page 2 uses the same terminology rather than switching to "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" or other variants.
